Becoming
a member of the right supply chain is the competitive
advantage many companies strive for today. Every sector
of our economy and vertical industry within it has
evolved supply chain “models” tuned to
the needs of its customers. Our economy is a supply-chain
rich environment.
Not all supply chains are created
equal in importance. Most only have the goal of delighting
the customer and delivering a profit. There are others
that have an additional goal and obligation. They
have a civic and humanitarian obligation. The wellness/biotech
supply chain is one of those.
The wellness/biotech supply chain
is incredibly complex with high customer expectations,
regulatory compliance requirements, cost containment
pressures, different member organizational structures,
and an expectation of Six Sigma like quality of products
and services.
This panel discussion will focus on
the challenges and critical performance issues in
the wellness/biotech supply chain.
