2010: A Supply Chain Odyssey
Speaker:
Simon Croom, Ph.D.
The
Supply Chain agenda is rapidly changing - are you
ready?
As
we look forward to 2010, the pressures and demands
faced by supply chain executives in all sectors will
be significantly different from those at the turn
of the century. In addition to the continuing tide
of globalization (we have already seen a compound
annual growth of 25% in the US trade deficit with
China since 2000), organizations will be facing demand
for increasing innovation through collaboration with
suppliers and partners; every organization will have
to engage in far more socially and environmentally
responsible practices across their supply chains;
and, everyone will continue to struggle with attempts
to gain greater integration across information networks.
Now
is the time to prepare for these challenges!
