"Alan Dickson, our speaker for the evening,
will talk about the practical realities of
his legal practice involving contracts. He'll share
real life cases where tactics & decisions either
turned out "brilliantly" or became "blunders".
Alan will focus on issues involving contract administration
of terms-and-conditions, relationships between attorney
and client, and relationships between the attorney
and the other side (the "bad guys"). He
will also reveal the clumsier side of the life of
a hard-working attorney, the side very few lawyers
would dare publicly reveal!

Biography:
Alan Dickson, in the Los Angeles office of the national
firm of Epstein Becker & Green, P.C., is an attorney
with over 38 years of experience in government and
complex contracting, commercial litigation and related
legal specialties. After service in the Air Force
JAG Corps, he entered private law firm practice and
has represented companies in a wide range of industries
including manufacturing, construction, aerospace,
software and computers, R&D and services. The
dominant theme of his legal work has been contracts
– how they get started, how they get performed,
how they get into trouble and hopefully out of it.
He is a graduate of both Yale and Harvard, and received
an advanced legal degree in Government Procurement
Law from the George Washington University.

NAPM-San
Diego's dinner meetings are held the second Tuesday of every
month. Locations vary to accommodate the diverse locations
of our members, so be sure to scroll down to read about our current
meeting or check the future
schedule for meetings to come. Remember that you do
not have to be a member to come and join us!
Reservations

following details apply to all members and non-members planning
to attend one of our meetings:

to the fact that NAPM-SD has to pay the full price of each
guaranteed dinner (we give a count on Friday), it has become
necessary to charge the full price to the member/non member
that fails to attend after making a reservation. It is not
fair to the general membership to subsidize costs of dinners.
