Lean Office: An Overview
Speaker: Karen
Martin, Principal Consultant of Karen Martin
& Associates
Many manufacturers are achieving dramatic
results by applying Lean Enterprise principles and
tools to lower product cost, improve quality and reduce
lead time to the customer. But Lean manufacturing
principles and tools can have an even more profound
effect on organizational performance and worker morale
when they are applied to manufacturing's office processes.
The same holds true for the service sector, government,
and technical environments -- all of which are gaining
ground by using the Toyota Production System principles
and tools to shape their operations. But the office
is a unique environment that requires a modified approach
for making improvements. Join us to hear how you can
identify and quickly eliminate office-based waste,
which lowers cost, improves quality and productivity,
creates a more effective work environment, and boosts
the customer's overall experience.
