EDUCATION
and/or EXPERIENCE

BA in Business Administration or similar field.

Five years experience as a purchasing agent in
a government and commercial services organization.

Five years experience as subcontracts administrator
in a government and commercial services organization.
Experience with government subcontract terms and
conditions and small business programs. Knowledge
of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and related.
- Experience
with Deltek purchasing software or similar.
-
Knowledge of import/export customs regulations
a plus.
CERTIFICATES,
LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Driver's license with acceptable motor vehicle
record is required.
COMPUTER
SKILLS

Must be experienced in the operation of:

Windows Vista operating systems
- MS
Office (Word, Excel, Access, e-mail)

Deltek Vision purchasing software or similar

Internet software
LANGUAGE
AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Excellent
written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Ability
to read, analyze, and interpret general business
periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures,
or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports,
business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information orally
and respond to questions from groups of managers,
clients, customers, and the general public. Ability
to present ideas and technical information in a
clear and concise manner, and to listen with attention.
MATHEMATICAL
SKILLS
Ability
to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts,
interest, commissions, proportions, percentages,
area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply
concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios,
and proportions to practical situations.
