The successful candidate will
be responsible for:
Identifying, developing and implementing operational
and technical strategies to continuously improve
the effectiveness of the RICA materials management
process to achieve benchmark-class standards.
Developing and implementing process and financial
metrics to continuously monitor and improve the
warehouse management and lean replenishment processes.
Making staffing recommendations and implementing
staffing plans along with providing input to and
operating within the departmental budget.
Ensuring regulatory compliance while promoting
safe working methods and a safe environment.
Be responsible for leading and personal development
of the Warehouse team including direct labor with
respect to training, performance management, salary
administration, overtime authorization, recruiting,
administering disciplinary action, and application
of organizational policies.
Directing multi-departmental resources for projects
which may include cost reductions, process improvements,
and corrective action investigations/ implementations.
Coordinating activities with Receiving/Inspection,
Buyers/Planners, Buyers, Master Scheduler(s) Quality
and Manufacturing Engineering, Accounting, Sales,
Marketing, and Finance as their functions impact
the
team’s area of responsibility.
Mentoring and coaching individuals in being successful
with the Lean Kanban Replenishment program
