Teamwork Athletic

an experienced Import Specialist/Buyer. Teamwork
Athletic Apparel has been recognized for its attention

| Responsibilities |
This position offers a challenging
opportunity to implement our international procurement
for our new product line and support our increasing
demand for current international purchases. You
will be responsible to procure raw materials and
finished goods from both internal and external suppliers
while ensuring compliance with tariff and US Customs
rules and regulations. Additional responsibilities
include but are not limited to:
- Maintain all aspects of import operations including
product/part classifications, transaction valuations,
and record keeping.
- Conduct studies, evaluate MRP and other related
reports and make recommendations and decisions
to determine requirements
- Act as Purchasing Agent
- Solicit bids and negotiate for the purchase
of supplies, equipment, and services and perform
related duties as required to support Teamwork’s
production and business needs.

| Requirements |
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination
of education & experience preferred
• 3-5 years minimum of previous importing
experience required (textiles/apparel a plus)
• Experience with HTS and Quota categories
• Knowledge of C-TPAT & Credit operations
• Experience working with freight forwarders,
steamships lines and domestic truckers
• Experience in NAFTA, country of origin,
rules and regulations
• 2 years minimum buying experience
• Experience with principles and practices
of purchasing including ethics, Internet research,
standards, bid preparation, negotiation and evaluation
• Knowledge of quality control, inventory
standards and control
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and multi-task
• Organized and detailed oriented
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, interpersonal,
and communication skills
