Responsibilities Bio-Quant is seeking a Purchasing and Equipment Manager to purchase lab and office supplies, equipment and furniture; to negotiate pricing and contracts so that Bio-Quant obtains favorable pricing in all areas; to oversee the maintenance of all lab and office equipment on a preventative and as needed basis; and to coordinate services from Bio-Quant’s landlords.
Requirements Requirements include a Bachelors’ degree in Business Administration or the equivalent knowledge and experience is required. Professional certification in Purchasing or Materials Management preferred. Experience must include a minimum of 5 years relevant professional level purchasing/materials management background. Proven success negotiating contracts and managing an organized operation are necessary. Experience managing outside vendor relationships and maintaining an excellent customer service reputation also required. Demonstrated team orientation and excellent communication skills are important. User level working knowledge of materials management information systems is required.
