| Responsibilities |
ICG
Commerce is seeking two Category Management Leads
with deep Corporate Products and Services sourcing
and supplier management experience to help customers
drive tangible results. In this capacity, you will
work directly with an ICG Commerce customer with responsibility
for delivering category management services including,
but not limited to, strategic sourcing, client stakeholder
management, supplier performance management, and continuous
cost and performance improvement. One of the positions
is located in the San Francisco Bay area and the other
position is located in the Thousand Oaks, CA. Specifically,
you will:
- Design
and implement cost savings projects across multiple
Corporate Products and Services materials and/or
services sub-categories including: Temporary Labor,
Engineering Services, Recruiting, Consulting,
IT/Telecom, Professional Services, Marketing,
and HR Services.
- Engage
with customers’ senior management team members
to drive and communicate progress.
- Measure
and manage “suppliers’” (aka
providers, agencies, etc.) performance relative
to contracted service levels.

Identify and resolve strategic supplier performance
issues to ensure customer satisfaction.

Perform total cost of ownership evaluations, perform
supply-market research and conduct pricing audits
and impact analysis for the pursuit of continuous
cost improvements.

Work collaboratively with suppliers and customer
stakeholders to identify and execute continuous
cost and performance improvement strategies.

Coach and develop team members in their performance
and professional development.

| Requirements |
The
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
-
A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Logistics
or related discipline, MBA preferred
- 5+
years of strategic sourcing related to Corporate
Products and Services
-
Experience with multiple materials and/or services
categories including; Temporary Labor, Engineering
Services, Recruiting, Consulting, IT/Telecom,
Professional Services, Marketing, and HR Services.

Ability to interface with customers and suppliers
via strong written and verbal communications skills
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-
Formal training and/or experience in strategic
sourcing
-
Proficiency in spreadsheet software (e.g. Microsoft
Excel) and presentation software (i.e. Microsoft
PowerPoint)
